The Seattle-based Integrated Engineering Blockchain Consortium (IEBC) enters into a partnership with Blockhaus Investment AG, of Zurich
April 2018, Seattle, WA. The Integrated Engineering Blockchain Consortium (IEBC) www.IEBC.co has partnered with Switzerland-based, Blockhaus Investment AG for the advancement of its digital platform, CoEngineers.io, to be alpha test released on a native proof-of-stake Blockchain in Q2 2018. The objective is to decentralize and integrate the global body of engineering knowledge and foster multi-disciplinary collaboration among engineers in the infrastructure, energy, transportation, and construction industries.
Led by IEBC Founder and CEO Daniel Robles, and Arie Levy-Cohen, CEO of Blockhaus Investment AG, the partnership will produce a Blockchain Platform to allow access to the engineering body of knowledge on a global basis.
CoEngineers.io will create a shared ledger of integrated engineering knowledge embodied in a global network of engineers from the infrastructure, energy, transportation, and construction industries. Use cases include the secure dispatch of credentials, transaction records, digital modeling, and the “verification of physical state” in support of, among others, novel financial and insurance products, IoT, AI, AV and applicable smart contracts. Use cases also include adjudicating contracts, analytics, as well as mitigating insurance and financial risk.
